Gifts, Meals and Entertainment

Gifts, meals, entertainment and similar benefits are commonplace in the business world, but they should be treated carefully. While there may be appropriate business reasons for accepting or providing such benefits, use sound judgment to avoid a real or perceived conflict of interest.

Q&A

Is it OK to accept gifts, meals, entertainment or any other benefits from anyone who is doing business with the Winnebago Industries family of companies or who wishes to do business with us, if it would influence or appear to influence your business judgment?

No. We avoid such benefits unless they are of modest value, infrequent, consistent with accepted business practice, not excessive, business-related (including to further a business relationship) and permitted under applicable law.

Gifts, meals, entertainment and similar benefits should never be provided to government entities, officials or contractors.
